I am a formally trained contemporary artist and certified Intentional Creativity® teacher located near the beautiful beachside town of Bargara. I have been working out of my studio for 8 years, running regular classes and workshops as well as painting full-time. I have taught all over the globe including Greece, Hawaii, annually in Bali and the US. My work is exhibited regularly in recognised galleries and I have been a selected finalist in a number of Australian art awards, published in international magazines and books and most recently featured in the Australia’s Art Edit magazine.
When an opportunity arose last year to rent a little space in Bundaberg I decided that I would open my own little gallery that would also represent other women artists and makers. Over time it became obvious to me that I needed to expand and create something more upmarket with more wall and floor space. So here I am today creating a new space located just one street back from the ocean (you can hear the waves from the gallery) in beautiful Bargara.
The vision for the space I have is contemporary and upmarket with a French chic style. Not only is it a gallery, but a small service café with gourmet coffee, teas and cake. It is also a recognized MUSEA location, as part of the Global Intentional Creativity® Art Movement. I hope to create a warm and welcoming space where art and coffee lovers can come and be inspired. I also aim to provide space for local and non-local artists and makers to enhance their profile by displaying and selling their work.
