Paramedics transported a female in her 20s to Bundaberg Hospital after she was reportedly bitten by a snake in Bundaberg Central.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the incident on Mclean St happened at 11.10pm.

She was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
