UNION: Turtles Brothers hope a new-found lease of confidence can lead them to a first win over the Pythons today.
Last season's Spring Cup grand finalists will face each other for the third time this season, with Pythons winning the first two contests.
Unbeaten throughout the season, the Pythons are looking to end the year with their perfect record intact.
But the Turtles are confident of stopping that after thumping The Waves 76-0 last week.
"If we play as well as we did (last Friday) we can surely beat the Pythons,” Turtles captain Brendon McKeown said.
"It's all about our training. If we can get good numbers to training and muscle up, we should go alright.”
McKeown said the focus against the ladder leaders was on two areas.
"Mainly discipline and our communication is our key to beating the Pythons,” he said.
The Pythons have a simple aim for the game.
"We'll just go into that game not wanting to lose our winning streak,” Pythons president and player Danny Moran said.
"To go out on that note would be good, so we'll go out all guns blazing.”
The sides play at 5pm today at Childers Showgrounds. Spectator entry is by gold coin donation.
