TOP FIVE: How to drive Queenslanders mad
QUEENSLANDERS are a strange mob.
There's not a lot that gets on our nerves.
Cyclones, floods, droughts and even the occasional snowfall at the southern end of the state isn't enough to fluster us, we roll up our sleeves and battle through.
But put us next to an annoying New South Welshman on State of Origin night and all of a sudden, it's battle stations.
Here's the top five things that get under a Queensland fan's skin on Origin night.
1. No, no, no, no, no!

Just the sight of the former New South Wales coach and current Channel 9 commentator, Phil Gould is enough to make the most hardened Queensland fan sick to the stomach.
Although it's hard to argue with Gould's expertise and knowledge of the game, he is unashamedly a Blues supporter.
His famous 'final word' speeches in the moments before kick-off have become synonymous with Origin night and like him or loathe him, he sure gets people talking.
2. The NSW fan who says the Queensland team is made up of southerners

There's nothing more painful than having a 'Cockroach' tell you half your team is made up of New South Wales players.
Some of the more famous examples of blurred state lines have been New South Wales halfback Peter Sterling (born in Toowoomba), Queensland superstar Greg Inglis (Born in Bowraville, NSW) and even the man who bleeds maroon, Billy Moore (Tenterfield, NSW).
One fan created this hilarious video back in 2013 to try and explain the situation.
3. Claiming Andrew 'Joey' Johns is the greatest player of all time

Now the blood is really boiling. How dare anyone mention the man dubbed 'barge arse' by his brother Matthew in the same breath as the 'King' of Queensland, Wally Lewis.
In fairness, Johns had it all. The cut-out ball, the kicking game, the running game. He was the complete halfback.
But everyone in Queensland knows there can only be one King.
4. Don't touch Wally's statue!
Every year some smart-alec decides it would be REALLY funny to decorate the 'King's' statue in front of Suncorp Stadium.
Keep trying New South Wales, that's as close as a piece of Blues merchandise will get to an Origin shield this year.
5. If all else fails...hire the Wiggles to drive us all mad
If you have children, or grew up in the '90s, you'll know almost every line to Australian institution's songs. And, if you endured listening to them on repeat on family car trips or blaring out of your television, you'll know how annoying and repetitive they can end up being.
Funnily enough, the Wiggles were once a band known as the Cockroaches! And last year teamed up with the New South Wales Blues to record a song that will drive any Queenslander to the brink of insanity.
