You have voted for your favourite plumber

THE NewsMail asked the community to nominate their favourite plumber and it has been answered with RZM Plumbing, MidCor and Barloo Plumbing receiving the majority of the votes.

Two of the top three plumbers have more than votes in common as RZM and MidCor Plumbing are father and son teams.

RZM owner Reece Middleton said he was surprised and honoured to be at the top.

"Wow, that's pretty awesome," Mr Middleton said.

"I know a few mates and people I have done jobs for were on Facebook commenting but I didn't expect to come out on top."

The 22-year-old said he had started the business five years ago after working with his father at MidCor.

"I worked with dad and then went off to Nambour to get my certificates," he said.

"I really want to thank everyone who supported me."

MidCor Plumbing owner Mark Middleton said he was excited and proud to be alongside his son in the Facebook nominations.

"I think it's great, especially because we both ended up on top," Mr Middleton said.

"I'm very proud of my son, he has always had a great work ethic. He went off to TAFE and the teachers were always calling to tell us how well he was doing."

The pair said they now continue to work alongside each other when needed.

"We give each other a hand," Mark Middleton said.

"It was always really good working together."

He said it was good to hear about coming in the top three plumbers in the area with the support of the community.

"It's a good feeling to know there is good feedback out there," Mr Middleton said. "We normally do the job and never hear from people so it's good to see what we do is appreciated."
