Temperatures continue to drop along coast of Central QLD

6.30am: ROCKHAMPTON and Gladstone overnight minimum temperatures continue to drop as the Antarctic Vortex continues to blast the east coast of Australia.

The overnight temperature for Rockhampton today was 3.6 and Gladstone's was 6.2, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.

Yeppoon recorded 4.6 at 6.22am and St Lawrence recorded 3.2 at 4.49am.

Meanwhile, Clermont Airport recorded the lowest overnight temperature for Central Queensland this morning with -1.7 at 6.30am.

Biloela reached its overnight low at 1.02am, recording a low of 0.2 and Emerald recorded its overnight low of 4.6 at 1.51am.
