FREE camping and a courtesy bus service from Bundaberg to the Sunshine Coast...

As Gympie Muster festival director Jeff Chandler says, there is no excuse for not having a party at this year's big festival.

The Muster bus service and the option of free Saturday night camping means there is absolutely no excuse for drink driving.

"Saturday is traditionally our biggest day," Mr Chandler said yesterday.

"A lot of people come Saturday and camp overnight, which is free in your own caravan, camper van or tent.

"And that means you can have a recovery day on Sunday.

"We have buses bringing people from Bundaberg to Nambour, Maroochydore and Noosa - and all points in between.

"That's always good fun, safe and it gets you there and back.

"All the details of pick-up times and locations are on our website.

"It means young people can come to the Sheppard concert on Saturday night and enjoy a lot of other entertainment as well across seven stages.

"You can buy a bus and a festival ticket in a package and that means adults can have a party and not have to worry about driving home.

"There's no excuse not to have a party at the Gympie Muster," he said.
