North Bundaberg region residents still need to boil water

A BOIL Water Notice is still in place for all properties in North Bundaberg, extending out to and including Fairymead Rd and Tantitha Estate, Wallaville and Rocky Point (Baffle Creek)  residents until further notice.

Under this notice residents in these areas  who use reticulated water must bring their water to a rolling boil for two  minutes and allowed to cool before using for drinking, food preparation and cleaning teeth.

The water quality may exceed the microbiological requirements for safe drinking water.

This advice is provided to the residents in the interest of public health. Further advice will be provided after tests have been completed.
