Dan O’Neill will forever be remembered as a beloved member of the Toowoomba community.

Mr O’Neill passed away in April last year after a three-year battle with Motor Neurone Disease.

He was a well-loved teacher at St Joseph’s College and was also an active member of many sporting clubs in town.

Now, one year on from his passing his family is hosting a Dan O’Neill Memorial Day at Clifford Park Racecourse to remember the wonderful man.

His wife Karen O’Neill is inviting anyone who would like to join in celebrating with them on Saturday, April 10 at the Grand Marquee from 4pm.

The event is a way to reminisce and party, as they give Mr O’Neill the send off he deserves.

Due to Covid and catering final numbers are needed so if you are planning on attending please text attendee numbers including children to 0407213143.

The event is a race day and there will be no fundraising.
