Love writing? Get your fix with Writefest
ARE you writing the next 50 Shades of Grey? Or could you be the next JK Rowling?
Whatever your genre, if writing is your passion, you can get your fix at the Bundaberg Writers' Club's annual Writefest.
This year, they're holding interviews for local authors with Pan Macmillan commissioning editor Haylee Nash.
There are also master classes being held over two days with one of Australia's leading editors, Jo Butler.
Local crime writer and Writefest organiser Sandy Curtis said the weekend would kick off with a meet and greet dinner on May 16, from 6pm at the Bargara Golf Club.
"This is a chance for WriteFest attendees to meet other writers and workshop presenters and catch up with old friends and make new ones," she said.
Then over Saturday and Sunday, May 17-18, there'll be a host of presentations and workshops from experts including, Kathryn Fox, Jacque Duffy, Emily Craven and more.
