IF YOU are part of a community organisation that needs a little bit of funding help, you have until next month to apply for grants worth between $500 and $35,000 as part of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund.

Every year the fund distributes about $53 million to Queensland communities that allows local groups to upgrade facilities and purchase much-needed equipment.

Member for Bundaberg Leanne Donaldson said last month $12.4 million for 602 community groups in Queensland was announced.

Not-for-profit and community-based organisations are eligible to apply.

Applications close August 31.
