Bargara restaurant ups the options on winter menu
AS THE weather cools, the menu is about to get that much hotter at The Rocks at Bargara.
Host Rick Johnstone has been poring over the menu with plenty of exciting new choices just ready for warming the most discerning of palates.
Rick said since The Rocks at Bargara opened last year it had been focused on his original goal which was to provide good food with great service.
"You truly can't have one without the other and thankfully we have secured staff who really enjoy their job especially given we have such a gorgeous location here in Bargara," he said.
"Personally I know myself how much I enjoy food that is fresh and alive with flavour and for that reason we only use garden-fresh produce and a mixture of quality seafood and meats and always from local suppliers wherever possible.
"I want people to be able to come and have a meal either by themselves or with family and friends and feel the relaxing atmosphere and really take pleasure in every aspect of their dining experience with us whether for breakfast, a light meal or dinner."
On the breakfast menu you'll find perennial favourite eggs benedict and zucchini and corn fritters, a personal favourite of Rick's which are also popular at dinner.
For dinner, Rick recommends the rib fillet or grilled lamb cutlets.
"In an attempt to cater for a variety of tastes we have vegetarian options as well, but overall it is all so very tasty you could come every day for every meal and still have options available for the next week.
"Great coffee and food at such an excellent location as Bargara Beach - how can you go wrong?"
