Fourth child safety employee stood down over Mason Jet Lee
A FOURTH employee of the Queensland Government has been stood down amidst an investigation in to the death of Caboolture toddler Mason Jet Lee.
Fairfax media reports three officials were stood down immediately after Child Safety Minister Shannon Fentiman said disciplinary proceedings were being commenced against 12 Queensland Government employees, last week.
Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services director-general Michael Hogan said the employee will not return to work for at least the next 10 to 12 weeks as the investigation is being finalised.
"This individual is one of the 12 staff members who were last week referred to the ethical standards branch," Mr Hogan said.
