AUSSIE RULES: From bottom to finals, the transformation is almost complete for the Brothers Bulldogs.

The side is now one win away from playing finals football after beating Bay Power for the second time this season by 16 points at Frank Coulthard Oval.

In a strong defensive performance, the Bulldogs stormed home in the second half with five goals to just one to overturn a nine-point deficit at half time.

Bulldogs players Lachlan Wood and Blair Bretag kicked two goals in the victory with Michael Lovett best on round for the side.

The team is now one game clear at the top of the ladder and will face Pomona next week after it lost to Maroochydore by 80 points in the other game of round 10.

That game will be held on the Sunshine Coast.
