Eight amazingly cool hot drinks you can get in Bundy

SICK of flat whites, long blacks and normal hot chocolate?

Bundaberg cafes are getting creative and offering a bevy of fun beverages, such as...

1. Camel milk latte

It's whiter, brighter, smoother and silkier than cow's milk.

The camel milk latte is available at Alchemy Well-being Cafe on Targo St.

Owner Bernadette Leonard has ordered in the "miracle milk" because it has been hailed as a game-changer for those with issues ranging from food allergies to diabetes and even autism.

Camel milk does not contain casein, the protein in cows' milk which many people are allergic to, and it contains insulin, which makes it beneficial for diabetics.

It also has 10 times more iron than cows' milk.

2. Green tea latte

Buzz Superfoods Bar says green tea lattes are one of the healthiest things you can sip.

Matcha Latte Matcha is the powdered form of green tea and has137 times more antioxidants than a regularly cup of brewed green tea.

One cup of matcha equals 10 cups of regularly brewed green tea in terms of nutritional content.

Claimed health benefits can include boosting metabolism which in turn burns more calories, helping to enhance mood and concentration and the green tea is rich in fibre, chlorophyll and vitamins.

Green tea lattes are also available at Indulge.

3. Butter coffee

Buzz Superfoods Bar says butter coffee - also known as bulletproof coffee - involves adding grass-fed unsalted butter and MCT oil to your coffee.

A lot of people that follow the paleo diet, or a Ketogenic (low crab diet) drink this coffee.

The butter and MCT oil acts as fuel for the body instead carbohydrates.

It is believed to help with focus and brain function as well as reduce food cravings which aids in weights loss.

4. Golden milk

Nourish serves up a bright yellow cuppa called golden milk.

The drink is a mix of spices put with milk.

According to Nourish owner Judy Plath, it's pretty healthy.

"It's got tumeric, ginger, cinnamon and maca," she said.

"The tumeric and ginger are very immune building and cinnamon is great for your blood sugar levels."
