UPDATE: Boy bitten by snake transported to hospital
UPDATE 2.49PM: PARAMEDICS have transported a young boy to Bundaberg Hospital, after reports he was bitten by a snake.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said ambulance crews arrived at a Scotland St location to assess the child.
"We have transported a patient to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition," the spokeswoman said. "The child was reportedly bitten on the wrist by a snake, somewhere on Scotland St."
BREAKING: PARAMEDICS are en route to Bundaberg East State School after reports a boy was bitten by a snake.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were on their way, but were not yet on the scene.
