BREAKING: Broncos name their squad for the NRL trial

NEW recruit James Roberts will make his debut for the Broncos in Bundaberg after they announced their squad for the NRL trial at Salter Oval on Saturday.

Roberts is part of a 21-man squad named for the clash which will feature seven players from the 2015 NRL grand final team.

Those names coming to Bundaberg include Jordan Kahu, Kodi Nikorima, Ben Hunt, Jarrod Wallace, Matt Gillett, Corey Parker and Anthony Milford.

Fellow starter Josh McGuire, who missed the grand final with a Achilles tendon injury, is also playing in the trial.

The Broncos will arrive in the town this Thursday with clinics to be held in the lead up to the event.

At this stage it is unknown if Wayne Bennett will be coming to the region to coach the team.
